Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

After completion of customs and immigration formalities you will be met at Entebbe international airport by our representative/ driver guide, transfer to your hotel, have safari briefings and then Relax.

Day 3: Chimps and Bigodi swamp trek

Early in the morning visit to Kibale Forest National Park, reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys and many others. After lunch we will go for the Bigodi Swamp Walk, an initiative of the local community. The swamp is known for its rich diversity of birds and primates.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth – Game drives

Enjoy an early morning game drive and head for the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat before returning for lunch.
In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Thanks to the abundant bird life that is sighted, and the elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your Uganda safaris.

Day 7: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK - KAMPALA

Wake early for a guided nature walk. Lake Mburo is the only national park where you can experience a safari on foot. After a guided nature walk, have your breakfast and then enjoy the scenic transfer to Kampala with a stop at the equator for photos or shopping Arriving Kampala in late afternoon.

Day 2: Kampala – Kibale Forest National park

After breakfast we will depart Kampala and head west to Fort Portal. Driving through the verdant countryside we will pass traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon.

Day 4: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park

We transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a lunch stop in Kasese. Upon entering the national park you will enjoy a short game drive before checking in at the accommodation in the middle of the park

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth – Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast we go for a hike in the Kyambura Wildlife Reserve. Driving through a grassland area, all of a sudden we come across an amazing gorge of one hundred meters deep, covered with tropical rainforest. You will hike into the gorge of the Kyambura River in search of the wild chimpanzees. It is a beautiful walk through the river valley, home to many birds and butterfly species as well. After this activity we drive to Lake Mburo National Park with an en-route lunch. As we enter the park and head towards the accommodation it is likely to see some wildlife, like impalas, topi, warthogs, zebras and buffaloes.

Day 8: Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, do your shopping and souvenirs. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Entebbe International airport for your departure flight.
