Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International airport

After completion of customs and immigration formalities you will be met at the airport by our representative/driver guide, transfer to your hotel and have your safari briefings.

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park – Golden monkeys trek.

After an early breakfast, drive to the park headquarters where you will have briefings and formalities for the Golden monkeys trekking. The Golden monkeys are rare, beautiful and distinctive bamboo-associated primates of the blue monkey family and Endemic to the Albertine Rift Valley. These adorable apes will keep you marveling in wonder of how they carry out there daily activities, and the way they are closely related to the human beings, they are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. Thereafter, enjoy the scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast, enjoy the scenic drive back to Rwanda then proceeding to Kigali. If time permits, visit Kigali genocide Memorial museum and then proceed to the airport for your departure flight

Day 2: Kigali – Musanze

After breakfast, take up Kigali city tour including a visit to Gisozi Genocide Museum, reflecting on the 1994 Rwandan genocide and then transfer to Musanze town, home to the famous Mountain Gorillas found in Volcanoes National Park.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Mountain Gorilla trek

After your morning wake-up call and breakfast, report to the park headquarters, for gorilla trekking formalities and briefing by the Park’s guides on the gorillas’ etiquette. Your trek will vary in length depending on where gorillas will be found you may see other primates in the forest including the black and white Colobus monkey, red-tailed monkey and chimpanzee. After locating gorillas, you will spend one hour in their company before retracing your steps back down the volcano slopes. Have lunch at the Camp. Afternoon, have a visit Buhoma community cultural performance and walking experience; the local society operates a village walk which takes one- three hrs. This immerses visitors in village life. Include the traditional healer a typical homestead and a beer brewery Or visit the nearby pygmy community.
